Allison is an actor and teaching artist based Chicago, IL. Before moving to Chicago in 2016, Allison attended a small liberal women's college, Stephens College, in Columbia MO, where she received her BFA in Theatre Arts.

Allison's greatest artistic love is Shakespeare! As a queer woman she is particularly committed to letting women and lgbt artists take the lead in the traditionally male dominated world of the classics. She is also passionate about seeing all body types represented in a powerful, positive light on stage.
 

She is currently a company member with the Elgin Shakespeare Project exploring Shakespeare's original performance practices.

Teaching artist and actor by day, by night Allison is also a burlesque performer! Find her twirling away under the moniker Shimmy Buffett.

Allison loves her old cat Peewee, her girlfriend Kasey, Lord of the Rings, Star Trek, a good charcuterie board, and needle felting mushrooms.
